Technological advances have allowed research to be carried out remotely and listening tests show applications for the assessment of speech intelligibility, musical perception and the identification of hearing loss. This work presents the development of a virtual platform and graphical interfaces to perform subjective tests applied remotely online and in-person. The programming environment used was the Visual Studio Code software and all the interfaces with which the user can interact were built in it. The language that covered all the main files was HTML, allowing the insertion of text, links, audios and images. The platform was assembled in three stages: interface structure, local server and online hosting. The five sounds that were selected were based on the different ambient conditions for a domestic refrigerator, when installed in partially or fully integrated kitchens. Five subjective assessment methods were selected to perform the online and face-to-face tests: Semantic Differential (DS), Ranking (OR), Paired Comparison (CP), Response Scale (ER) and Magnitude Estimation (EM). The five pairs of descriptors chosen for the test were: silent-noisy, non-metallic-metallic, sharp-bass, stable-vibrant, monotonous-oscillating. The number of people who answered the tests remotely was 100, the study sample was very diverse in terms of region, age and knowledge in the area of acoustics, and most participants used in-ear headphones. In general, participants agreed between the methods in defining sound A as the loudest and most metallic. Sound E was considered the quietest among users' responses. The subjective assessments carried out in person had good correlations with the answers remotely online, which may indicate the web tool as an alternative to the usual in-person tests.
